He wanted her to wear the new black noodle strapped tunic that he had gifted her , but she had already made plans to drape herself in the pastel shaded new chiffon saree that she had purchased just two days back in a sale. He was wondering if there will be space for parking if  they went in car but she was in mood to have a ride on his bike , and finally they both decided to go by walk as it was just 3 roads away from their newly purchased cosy apartment and the weather seemed just lovely. As they entered the restaurant, she was searching a nice place for the two when the manager-in-charge directed them to an already "reserved" place by him . After 15 minutes of scanning the menu she ordered her favourite "Chinese Chopsuey", "Schezwan fried rice " and a "walnut brownie " for dessert along with the complimentary wine the hotel provided, he ordered #24 on the second page and #60 on the 6th page of the menu respectively. As they waited for the food to arrive they were being entertained by some musicians on stage. He was about to tell her that they weren't that good when she told "I'm going to buy a guitar ! The tune he's playing is soothing me ...". Finally when the food arrived their evening had officially started, with her talking animatedly and him just listening and gazing at her lovingly .
"hey i was thinking to give our bedroom a  'happy hyacinth' paint , what do u think ?"...
"as if "you" are not enough to brighten our home that you are suggesting that colour ??!!! " ...
"oh you're such a bore !! ;) but tell me what do u think ?"
"umm...I was actually  thinking of  'crystal turquoise'.....with you as my mermaid ;) "
" not bad ! u seem to have a nice taste !! "
" you should have known that when i selected you for my life !!"
"ohh u sure know how to please me !!" :)

"now stop getting so impatient ... "
"but isn't this too late ? its been so long that i ordered my dessert !"
"its a weekend, so its a busy schedule even for them .."
"well offcourse u dont give a damn,, because you're done with having your food n you haven't ordered for any dessert !! "
" well i don't have to because you are the "dessert" of my life .." ............"i love you "

P.S: just observing how it is the little things, little moments, little sweet nothings that make our life so beautiful ..

 It's Friday night and I had a horrible, long and tiring day at office.F inally, at 8.30pm after almost 12 straight hours of being at office and working for the day, when I got up, my slogging ass thanked me for releasing it off the pressure for a few minutes :D I expected the traffic to be better but who was I kidding? Bangalore Traffic! on a Friday night! Better?? *add a loud monstrous sarcastic evil laughter* MY FOOT!!! Riding back, thanks to the dark streets minus streetlights, as*****s who drive with high beam within city limits and potholes which are the size of a manhole, I had numerous moments where I thought today was the last day of my life on this wretched planet but guess the universe isn't done with me yet! This week I finally watched "The Waiting". Although I am ashamed that I took almost three years to watch a movie that I was waiting to watch right from the time I read about its concept on paper, I am happy I finally did. The movie stars two of my all-time favorites - Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapoor along with Kalki Koechlin who inspires me with the simplest fact that she is much more than a fair skinned pretty lady. In this movie, she has turned lyricist for the beautiful song named 'Waiting for you'. The movie is about how two characters meet in a hospital environment and bond while waiting for their loved ones to get better. You get to see how powerful hope is, when that is all you get to have by your side.
