my thoughts and your thoughts ...... how they play together !!

It was a winter morning and though fully awake siya was in no mood to get out of her bed and so she just closed her eyes listening Evanescence sing "bring me back to life" intently when his name flashed on her mobile screen. For a minute her mind went blank . Slowly its database started working again and she had a collection of things in her head's platter from his voice to how he looked to more detailed things like the way his chocolate brown eyes wrinkled when he smiled ,the way he wore his shirt loosely to the way he ran his fingers around his dark hair which he did in a flawless and stylish way ...
Their story was a strange one or we can say they never had a story as such ,but, they knew each other in college and somewhere in the middle were in a situation where they didn't want to acknowledge that they knew each other .And as they moved out of college they eventually lost contact going about their mundane lives...
Now coming back ,after an year or so she received his message and wondered what might be the matter and eagerly opened her inbox only to be disappointed by just some lame forward about relationships .
Now she was confused as to whether he sent this to her by mistake ..but then smiled when she realized he still hadn't deleted her number just as she hadn't deleted his !! 'well maybe he does wants to talk to me but is thinking of how to begin and that's why has sent a forward for starters' she thought ...
She waited for a couple of minutes but didn't receive anything from him , so she concluded that her former doubt must be true ,that he did text to her by mistake !!
She just went about her daily chores and by evening even forgot about the whole incident when her cell flashed his name again .She clicked on it and it read
Ashish : have you become so egoistic that you cant even reply back when an old acquaintance texts you after more than an YEAR ??!!
At once she was taken aback at this new accusation and then it felt weird to listen to him speak as if nothing had happened in their lives and as though they spent the very day together !!! ..
Siya : I'm sorry ,but i thought you sent me the forward by mistake ....
HE : off course i sent it by mistake and hoped that you too would reply to me by mistake !Guess i was wrong in hoping so ...... !!
his reply took her by surprise but deep down there was a strange feeling of happiness !
SHE : umm .... how are you ?
HE : you still haven't left your habit of changing topics when things don't go your way, have you ??
        am good ,how are you ??
SHE : aah no !! i haven't :P  ... guess bad habits die hard !!
           Even I'm doing good ,what you up to these days ???
................... and soon the single lines texts turned to paragraphs with both of them talking about all and sundry but not bringing up the topic of what had happened between them and why they weren't in touch ,each fearing that it might again be the deal breaker !!
They hardly noticed how time flew by and it was 2'0 clock in the night when he said
HE : I missed you soo much !!
Now it felt really weird for her to listen to this as they were never really thick friends or even Ex-lovers (if your head thought that way) . But in some strange way they connected !
There had been days when she was upset and his eyebrows never parted ! days when he was happy and she came across as the singing bird and days when people were made to sit apart in  library for talking and they never needed to sit together or for the matter of fact didn't even need words to converse away to glory !!
SHE : That sounds weird to me ,not the fact that you missed me ,but that you're using words to express it ! ...... I guess even I missed you ...(she seriously did! ) ......................................................................

I wouldn't say any further about this and jinx anything ....just that I'm hoping their new song begins afresh with new lyrics but the same old tune .............. :)
