The Bus Ride :)

I'm sure most of you at one point or the other have travelled by bus and if you havent then this is just to show what all you have missed !

Well I'm not a frequent user of this particular public transport considering I have my own vehicle but the times I have used it , it has been quite an experience each time !

I'm particularly interested in boarding crowded buses ,since that is where i get to observe a whole variety of people ..and oh boy ! what fun it is !! :)

Now since its a crowded bus you dont get a seat when you board it and thats when you experience the following :
You suddenly  feel like a hostage with your kidnappers surrounding you ,actuating you ,some poking you and If you'r a girl then be ready for the constant stare at you by atleast 10 pairs of eyes and be prepared to take the weight of the  man behind you ,who 'accidentally' may fall on you for the next speed breaker itself !

Talking of speed breakers ,these serve more as opportunities for the opportunists ! This is the time when men try their luck with the various obnoxious things in mind , when women give a quick push under the pretext of the speed breaker to make more space for themselves and this is the time for you to take revenge on that lady who just stamped your feet with her pointed heels and you stood there with a numb foot for 10 minutes!!

And now ,there comes the time when one seated person gets up as his stop has arrived .... Can you imagine the next scene ??

All of a sudden there are a 100 eyes on that particular place ! (and mind you ,its not only in politics where people fight for a seat ;) ) ,and if by chance you managed to grab it then the fat woman with her kanjeevaram saree and body covered with gold gives you a look that would  beat  even Joey's expression when somebody takes his mentally claimed food !! The little boy with his dripping nose and hands digging the same could make you voluntarily give up your seat when he comes dangerously near !The old lady could start giving moans  and a story about her arthritis just to make you get up out of guilt !....

But in case you happen to be a person who could ignore all of them then you now have a seat for yourself and can now observe the rest even more properly !:)
So looking around you find half of them giving a stupefied expression and sitting like zombies ,staring at the sky aimlessly , some of them sleeping in the fresh hours of morning too ! then there people who get luggages big enough to make it their own seat and others who even bring their animal friends much to the disappointment of the posh lady sitting with her shades on and dettol sanitizer in her purse ...and you find the puny little man squashed up against 2 old men in lungis ,trying to free himself , much as the girl who is constantly trying to shrink her body to avoid any more physical contact with the king kong sized man sitting next to her as if he has won the olympic medal !!! Now again there are girls like me who could kick someone in the groin if they tried to act smart and that would be more an entertainment ....but this is no less :P

Now by the time you actually begin to get comfortable with your seat ,your stop arrives and before you are even out , well you can give a thumbs up to the person who grabbed your seat ;)

P.S : keep your eyes open the next time you take a bus !! :)
