Ballad of life with a pal :)

I recently joined back my dance class after 4 long years along with my best friend since childhood and to describe in  the most simplest word the feeling of going back - HAPPY :)
Aunty (thats what we called our dance teacher since she had literally seen us grow in front of her eyes) too was happy with our decision to join back and extended us a warm welcome :):) But that did not deter her from being the tough task master that she is and she made us do all the asanas and adavus as they had to be done  and however strange it may be we were happy to sweat it out !!Our legs ached but we savoured it as we could feel each limb ,each muscle stretching .We realized that we did'nt have the same stamina as we used to till 4 years back but we tried to fit in with the fresh batch of students around ... Obviously we missed our group .....
For what i can remember I've been dancing all my life and have been training in it since my 3rd grade . Dance class was right next to my school and me and Appi (Arpitha-my bff and the one in the pic above) would finish school and come directly over here . After each set of adavus(moves) or a dance we were given a break and we would happily continue our chat that we would have started right with the school bell in the morning !! :P
Slowly some of our other friends also joined class and we too mingled with girls who were'nt from our school and slowly we had our own cute group ,dance was our stress buster and all of us who looked forward to dance class with the same enthusiasm as Tom would for Jerry !!
Back then we needed aunty to even tie us the duppatta tightly around our waists and now feel a bit nostalgic when we see her still helping the tiny tots who have joined newly with the same . We suddenly felt too grown up !!But then it was an altogether different feeling to know that some things still hadn't changed ,It was a re-assurance that i needed badly especially when i saw people near me and situations changing every now and then so much so that i had actually stopped believing in certain things !!
Flashback yet again : After dance class we would go the panipuri -wala in the same road, and would eat minimum 2 plates of it each time(which meant thrice a week) !!:P Dancing would have left us so tired and thirsty that we gulped down extra servings of the delecious paani so hurriedly and lovingly !!
Pure nostalgia was what me and Appi felt that day after dancing to our heart's content ,all those emotions of 4 years  that we had suppressed ,those urges to dance which we had ignored all of it was released away and we felt a strange nirvana .....

P.S : This is dedicated to Arpitha (appi) ,the first girl in primary school who introduced herself and made me her friend ,the girl with whom topics never ran out if we sat to talk, the girl to whom i need not tell some things and yet she understands or she has the wicked knack to get to know about it !! The girl who has religiously been wishing me on all occasions of life , has been my companion on almost everything in my life that i can remember of ,i just want to tell you Appi that we seem to have a perfect rapport when it comes to dancing together to life's rythms ;) love you :)
