the attention seekers

Well HBO and Star Movies are obsessed with certain movies and one of them happens to be "Avatar" and so all its usual viewers have no other choice but to watch at least bits of it again and again as they wait for their favorite movie, which is to be aired right after it ! :P

But recently when i watched this movie again ,I chanced to realize one thing - the similarities in the way of seeking attention ,to be heard and recognized .

The story even if it was fictitious lay down many characteristics of the basic fabric of human nature which hold valid even for modern day .

In it ,the protagonist Jake Sully , to regain the Na'vi's trust and to grab a chance to be heard by them , connects his mind to that of Toruk , a dragon like predator feared and honoured by the Na'vi' group .He flies it to show that he is much more powerful and hence should be taken seriously .

Isn't this exactly what all of us have been doing even to this day ?? 

A guy who walks daily on the same road is never noticed until one day he decides to ride his Harley Davidson and grab attention ! A certain Lady Gaga can no more make people listen to her music just by being good at it and so she has to wear unusual clothing and hair do's and foot wear for people to turn towards her !! A girl is never adventurous until she has got a tattoo which reads "ADVENTUROUS" in a Greek font !!!

People have no time for the usual anymore . This makes each one keep pushing themselves so hard to do something different ,think out of the box just to even be noticed or considered until one day they snap and decide to go out of the league !

OR .....................

 they choose the second method ,do something that the entire world fears and that's their chance to be heard! 

I am not saying that this is a valid excuse to every person out there who murdered somebody & stole his life ,planned a bomb blast & stole many more lives ,raped a girl & stole her character ,right to live care free OR resorted to stealing & stole their means of living.............what I am trying to say is that ,there exists a certain fraction of people among them who actually did all that with the very intention of stealing ,but - stealing the show !!!! 

It was their means of getting back to the world which took away something from them and never even gave an opportunity to crib about it , their means of just communicating ...

So this just highlights the extent to which we are interleaved to one another ,an amazing loop, wherein , if we are to blame a criminal we need to first blame the victim in us for making them criminals ! 

If we are to criticize somebody for being an attention seeker ...we need to first blame ourselves for not giving them the attention they craved for and deserved ............

P.S : the words/phrase  "adventurous" and "stealing the show " are supposed to be the attention seekers of my article since they are (in) BOLD !! :D :P
