Mommy -O - Mommy

 It was just 35 days that i came out of my mother's cozy womb to see a huge world in front of me .I was just 35 days old when i was adopted by a family ,just 35 beautiful days with my mother and then I was separated from her.
                                       
The new world where I was taken to had all the love but it did not come from whom I expected it - my mother . They provided me soft blankets to sleep on but it wasn't as soft as my mom's fur under which I snuggled . They provided  me milk from a blue and white packet but it tasted so weird all of a sudden !
They pampered me n patted me but i missed how my mom licked my face and extra love was when she bit my ears . Today ,its been 8 years since i saw her and I still miss her .I don't know if she is even alive or how old she would have become. I am quite sure I'll never see her again but today I heard my sis wish our mom a happy mother's day and so I want to tell the same to my mom , wherever she is : I love you mom and there is not a single day I haven't yearned for you .. Happy Mother's day :) :(

P.S : Frodo boy , this is all just in my thoughts that you might miss your mom soo much but I just want to let you know I'm always here as your sis ,mother, best friend and anything you want me to be :) :) :*

The Accidental Ant God

The other day, I accidentally carried an ant from my room to my office. (No, it wasn’t "Bring Your Pet to Work" day!) Apparently, this little explorer decided to embark on a spontaneous hike, scaling my office bag without a visa. It ended up commuting with me across what must feel like continents in ant terms. The poor thing had perched itself on the zip—until I spotted it and flicked it off. Just like that, it's now miles away from its colony, exiled by a creature hundreds of times its size. Back home, ants on my bed don't usually get such thrilling adventures. More often, they face my wrath. Sometimes they get squashed just for walking across the wrong pillow—thanks to the itchy memories left behind by their bitey brothers. I wonder—do they curse me? Jagjit Singh ,often known as the ghazal maestro has nursed many hearts and soul through his voice and music. I first got introduced to his music through my mother. I fell in love with his songs, listening to her sing in her sweet voice to herself as she went about doing daily chores. The songs felt more deep, meaningful, comforting and pleasant when it came from her and still does! :)  The songs are not fast paced ,don't have drum beats, they don't have aggression in them nor do they contain swear words as lyrics but they strike the innermost chords of your heart, calm down the evil in you rather than bring it out and compel you to think about your life for sometime at least ...  His words flow as songs themselves and stand in front of you as visuals even with your eyes closed and humming the tunes over and over again just takes you to another world, a beautiful one at that ....
